Kim Boardman, founder of StopODinAZ.org, has been a dedicated harm reduction activist since 2010, advocating for compassionate approaches to substance use issues. As a licensed master's level addictions counselor and a certified harm reduction therapist, Kim has earned the nickname "The Needle Lady" for her unwavering commitment to providing harm reduction services and support to her community. Her extensive work includes Narcan training and opioid education initiatives, which reflect her deep understanding of the challenges faced by those struggling with substance use. With numerous affiliations across various community organizations, Kim brings a wealth of experience and empathy to her efforts.
Mark D. Cain, co-founder of StopODinAZ.org, has been a colleague of Kim Boardman for nearly two decades. His background in street outreach and over 20 years of experience in opioid treatment programs have made him an invaluable asset. Known affectionately as "Methadone Mark," his deep-rooted dedication to helping individuals affected by substance use disorders has been instrumental in shaping the outreach and advocacy efforts at StopODinAZ.org, particularly in promoting harm reduction strategies.
